We at STL Mint are proud to unveil our fifth release in the inaugural Ancient Aliens Series: Head In The Clouds!

Over 2,100 miles off the Western coast of Chile, lies one of the most remote inhabited places in the world – Easter Island. Spread all across the island are more than 900 monolithic human figures carved from stone, known by the locals as Moai, that are upwards of 33 feet tall and 82 tons. The Moai were said to be placed by the Rapa Nui people around 800 years ago. With the massive size of the figures, and the island being thousands of miles away from any continental land, begs the question: how did they do it? Experts still to this day cannot explain it, and there is only one logical explanation…they clearly had some extraterrestrial assistance!

Mintage will be capped at 200 bars total: 100 prooflike and 100 enameled. Each bar will be individually numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Act now as these won’t last long. Our next design is currently in the works and will be released soon.

NOTE: These will be shipped in mint sealed plastic – if you prefer an air-tite capsule, please add this to your order. Please keep in mind that the enameled bars have an acrylic coating over the enamel that sometimes prevents the capsule from sealing completely. Every issue may contain SAMPLE bars in addition to the production mintage – those are always disclosed on the “Mintage Info” page and SAC.
