We at STL Mint are proud to unveil our fourth release in the inaugural Ancient Aliens Series: Mayan Alliance!

In the heart of the Mayan Chichen Itza ruins lies a pyramid known as El Castillo. Built with extreme foresight and precision, during the spring and autumn equinoxes, the sun strikes off the NW corner of the pyramid and casts a series of triangular shadows, creating the illusion of a serpent crawling down the pyramid, in honor of Kukulcan. The Mayan civilization created the most elaborate calendar system using astrology that even to this day cannot be fully understood…they clearly had an extraterrestrial alliance. There have been reports of beams shooting into the sky from El Castillo – are these beams of energy that refuel the extraterrestrials that helped progress the Mayan civilization?

Mintage will be capped at 200 bars total: 100 prooflike and 100 enameled. Each bar will be individually numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Act now as these won’t last long. Our next design is currently in the works and will be released soon.

NOTE: These will be shipped in mint sealed plastic – if you prefer an air-tite capsule, please add this to your order. Please keep in mind that the enameled bars have an acrylic coating over the enamel that sometimes prevents the capsule from sealing completely. Every issue may contain SAMPLE bars in addition to the production mintage – those are always disclosed on the “Mintage Info” page and SAC.
